Your Role

As Divisional Director, you will be a key member of our Board of Directors, responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of our Finishing Division. You will lead a high-performing team and drive the division’s transformation into a world-class operation where continuous improvement and on-time delivery are at the heart of our processes.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership – Collaborate with the Board to define and execute company objectives, driving growth and excellence.
  • Operational Excellence – Lead the Finishing Division, embedding lean principles, eliminating inefficiencies, and enhancing productivity.
  • Performance & Quality – Implement World Class Manufacturing to enhance efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement – Monitor and optimise divisional performance, driving key improvements.
  • Team Development – Support and develop staff, fostering leadership and professional growth.
  • Compliance & Safety – Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, ethical practices, and workplace safety.
  • Sustainability & CSR – Lead initiatives that promote environmental and corporate responsibility.
  • Investment & Cost Management – Oversee capital expenditure proposals and financial decision-making.
  • Daily Operations – Lead SQDC meetings, maintaining a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

  • Degree-level education with a passion for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Demonstrable experience in manufacturing management.
  • Proven strategic leadership experience, with the ability to shape and influence company direction.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market dynamics and identify business growth opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Financial and commercial acumen to support sound business decision-making.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and innovation trends within manufacturing or textiles.

Desirable:

  • Financial and Commercial Acumen, including business strategy
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of textile processes.
  • Strong IT and data analysis skills.
