We have an opportunity within our Weaving department for a Grey Fabric Inspector.

 

  Mon-Fri 37.5 hrs/week
9am – 5pm and 2pm – 10pm

About the department and the role

Our Weaving department has an opportunity for a Grey Fabric Inspector to join their team. The Grey Inspection area is responsible for grading and mending all types of woven fabrics, including our highly technical fabrics to Heathcoat exacting standards.

Our Grey Fabric Inspectors grade, mend and book jobs onto the next production process or to stock via our electronic systems. They also wrap fabric going into stock or direct to our customers.

 

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Experience in operating machinery
  • Experience in using Outlook, Excel and ERP systems an advantage
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good dexterity
  • A logical approach
  • Ability to work well in a team and on your own
  • Knowledge of health and safety issues relating to the operating machinery
  • Able to follow Standard Operating Procedures
