We developed our unique ‘Ag+’ treatment in response to the ever-demanding threat of infection within confined healthcare environments (hospital acquired infection – HAI).

Ag+ incorporates the application of pure silver ions – which decrease the risk of infection and cross-contamination; and helps reduce odour without irritation. The treatment can be applied to any of our medical textile products giving them anti-bacterial properties that increase the levels of comfort, safety and hygiene.

Our Ag+ treatment is durable after laundering, meet the highest Oekotex® Class 100 standard; and helps to reduce the occurrence of C.Dif infection.
Heathcoat medical fabric products are also fully REACH compliant, the European legislation to protect human health and the environment from the risks associated from the use of chemicals.
